Frosty Toes Invitational

Our school-aged program fosters self esteem as the students are challenged on an individual basis. Researchers at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School found a relationship between physical activity and children’s self-esteem.  The more time children, ages 10-16 spent being active, the higher their self-efficacy and self-esteem were reported to be.  (Strauss RS, Rodzilsky D, Burack G, Colin M, 2001)

We offer recreational gymnastics for  boys and girls.  All classes teach basic skills, strength, and flexibility.  Instruction emphasizes technique and form since both are instrumental to safety and success when attempting intermediate skills.  Students will work all events including tumble-track and trampoline.  Class size is limited to 8 students to make sure each student gets the attention they deserve.

IGNITORS 60 minutes, limit of 8 children

The Ignitor class is designed for children in 1st and 2nd grade.  At this point we separate the boys from the girls so that we can focus on the specialized skills necessary for their different events.

3rd - 5th GRADE   60 minutes, limit of 8 children

These classes are for boys or girls in the 3rd - 5th grade.  While we still maintain our fun atmosphere, the lessons tend to be a bit more structured.

6th +  60 minutes, limit of 10 children

These classes are for boys or girls in the 6th grade and older.  At this age we focus a lot on goal setting and strength training

We offer both a girls (Level 4-6) and boys Level 4 and 5 competitive teams.  Girls team may expand to Level 7 in 2008.  Team members are required to work out a minimum of 2 days per week but can work out up to 3 days per week.  Competition costs and team fees are available for those that are interested.  Our philosophy is to develop a love of the sport of gymnastics without burning the gymnast out by having them in the gym 20+ hours per week.  If you have any questions please feel free to call and talk with Guy or Shelly for the girls and Brian for the boys.

Visiting from out of town and need a place for your gymnast to work out?  Give us a call we love to have visitors from other gyms come to play the game of gymnastics.  Any questions contact either:

Guy@imagymnationidaho.com or Shelly@imagymnationidaho.com.
